Sunday, July 6, 5pm - 8pm
Cost: $50
This immersive workshop introduces ARTIST/CIVILIAN, a powerful technique created by Jemal McNeil that explores the duality between our public selves (the civilian) and our authentic artistic truth (the artist). Rooted in the teachings of Stanislavsky, Meisner, Strasberg, Adler, and a touch of Freud, the class guides actors through breathwork, vulnerability, and self-exploration to unlock their full instrument. Through a mix of physical, emotional, and psychological exercises, participants will deepen their connection to character, strip away self-judgment, and learn to create rich, truthful performances that live off the page.
